Finding and hiring a Colorado attorney can be an intimidating and daunting task. At Black Suit Law we want to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The following is a list of what to expect:
Tell us about your case: Call 970-515-5958 or fill out the potential client intake form here to tell us who you are and give us some information about your case. We can then easily and quickly process a conflict check to make sure we have not previously represented the adverse party which would prevent us in most instances from taking the case due to a conflict of interest.
Schedule an appointment: During your phone call to our office or shortly after receiving your intake form, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment with an attorney to discuss your case via video conference, in person at our Fort Collins law office or Loveland law office. We also understand not all potential clients are able to take time out of their schedules to travel to our office and therefore we can utilize technology to hold your first appointment via telephone, or video conference.
Intake appointment: During your intake appointment please bring all pertinent documents, pictures, emails, contracts, court papers, etc… to assist us with the discussion of your case. We will discuss the facts of the case to determine what legal options or rights you may have available to you and attempt to develop a legal strategy for moving forward. All intake appointments are a flat fee of $45. The intake appointments typically last between 45 minutes to 1 hour, so please plan accordingly.
Hiring Us: Once the conflict check has cleared, we have held our intake appointment, and you have decided that we are the right Northern Colorado law firm for you, a Legal Services Agreement will be sent to you for review, signature, and return to our office along with the retainer amount discussed during the intake appointment. Once we have your signed Legal Services Agreement and retainer we can begin working on your important legal matter. Retainer and invoice payments by credit card can be conveniently made by clicking here or by calling the office to process payment by telephone.
